Description
The General Service Medal (South Africa) was instituted in 1987. it was awarded to members of the South African Defence Force for operational service inside South Africa after the 1st of January 1983 in the prevention or suppression of terrorism or internal disorder, or preservation of life, health or property, or the maintenance of essential services and law and order, or crime prevention.
We have a large of these medals and as such the medal pictured is most likely not the one you will receive. All medals are intact and also have their ribbon included however.
